Enpal's vision is to make clean and affordable energy accessible to everyone - this is what drives us to connect people into a renewable community.
We believe in a climate-neutral future in which there are solar panels on every roof, home storage units in every house, heat pumps in every garden and electric cars in every garage. In order to realize this vision, we are in dialogue with politics, business and science.
The Public & Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for political communication and represents the company in discussions with public decision-makers. We are in contact with people from political parties, parliamentary groups, scientific institutions, NGOs and think tanks. We listen and provide impetus from business practice. Through this dialog, we want to improve the political framework conditions for a climate-neutral energy and economic system. We are active in Germany and Europe.
Enpal is the one-stop store for the climate-neutral home. We offer PV systems, battery storage, heat pumps and charging stations for electric cars. The individual systems are integrated and efficiently controlled via our proprietary home energy management system.
We stand behind the European Green Deal and Germany's energy and climate targets. We are convinced that these are best achieved through reliable political framework conditions and market-based principles. This is why we are actively involved in the consultations on the relevant regulations, such as the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG), the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) and the European Renewable Energies Directive (RED).
The financing of PV modules, storage units, wallboxes and heat pumps is a key factor in the decision to invest in climate-neutral technologies. We offer models for purchase, rental and installment purchase. This requires a regulatory environment that incentivizes climate-friendly investments in a targeted manner. As part of various legislative initiatives - such as the Future Financing Act and other projects at European and German level - we are committed to creating such a regulatory environment.
The world of renewable energies is characterized by the flexibility of supply and demand. Managing this flexibility requires more data, more networking, sensor technology and a lot of computing power - and a digital and technology policy that makes this possible against this backdrop, we support the law to restart the digitalization of the energy transition (GNDEW) and are implementing the German government's plans for an agile smart meter rollout.
Enpal employs people from over 60 nations. They realize our corporate vision - from product development to the installation of PV systems. That is why we support an open-minded and progressive labor market policy and implement the German government's skilled labor strategy and the Skilled Immigration Act. These are key to counteracting the shortage of skilled workers. With our Enpal Academy, we demonstrate every day how innovative training concepts can get people excited about the energy transition and attract skilled workers.

Enpal's regulatory work is fact-based and scientifically sound. Our most recent study - ‘Direct marketing of small PV storage systems: Investigation of system usefulness’ - which Energy Brainpool conducted on behalf of Enpal, shows the advantages that direct marketing of fed-in electricity could bring for the electricity grid and the federal budget compared to fixed feed-in tariffs.

We regularly invite stakeholders from politics, science, civil society and business to a joint exchange. This enables us to better understand individual topics, bring together different perspectives and promote dialog across sectors. After all, we can only make the transformation of the energy system a success if we listen to each other and are willing to learn from each other.
